Walking and Hiking

No other area in Ireland offers the variety and quality of walking trails and routes as the Dingle Peninsula on Ireland's mountainous south west coast. The Dingle Peninsula is paradise for walkers.

One of Ireland's most renowned walks is The Dingle Way, a 112-mile trail that winds up and down the peninsula via beaches, cliffs, and hedged livestock paths. Like all recognised and plotted walks, The Dingle Way is well signposted. The Way starts at Blennerville, just outside Tralee, and passes near the villages of Camp, Annascaul and Dingle, before the final stretch from Dingle to Slea Head.
